The Straight Skinny
Let’s talk a little bit about those nosey, holier than thou people who are always telling us what we should and should not eat. These people don’t want us to eat any dairy products, no meat … heck, they don’t even want us to eat fruits and vegetables unless they’re grown exactly the way these “yahoos” say they should be grown! They also want all of us to look alike and be perfectly thin.
I read somewhere that the very act of eating burns eighty-five calories an hour. So, I figure the more I eat the more calories I’m burning. Now, there’s a diet I can live with! Actually, you should eat sensibly from each of the five food groups, and that of course includes meat and dairy.
If you happen to be a bit overweight like I am, and you want to look a little thinner, do what I do… wear a comfortable, dark, loose fitting sweat suit. And while you’re at it, make it an all-cotton sweat suit.
